PAYPAL Closing The Racial Wealth Gap
Peep the Full Campaign HERE
PRODUCTION STAKES: Led a travel crew in June 2021 to film CEO Dan Schulman and partners for PayPal’s impact initiatives addressing racial inequality. As a woman of color, the campaign resonated with me. I line-produced and directed shoots in Jackson, Mississippi; San Jose, California; and Chicago, Illinois. Navigated complex logistics and high-profile subjects on behalf of Casual Films. Ensured team safety and implemented production safety procedures during the COVID-19 surge amid a demanding back-to-back schedule. Patched Fortune Editorial and client teams via Zoom. Responded with agile improvisation. This was an unforgettable experience that culminated in a special result. Received production praise and deepened internal diversity exploration.
<— Back in New York at the Walker Hotel, the day after the crew returned, I realized we had entered a rare and wild reality. A quiet moment shaped by recent experiences made the fundamentals of a healthy society clear: health equity, access, and collective wealth are vital in an imperfect world.
